Rachel Sanders
BSC Msc IPF Dip ATT FRICS
Rachel is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 25 years’ experience working in the property and construction sector. Following initial work with major quantity surveying practices on both heavy engineering and buildings, she moved to develop her principle specialism in Capital Allowances, where she has helped private investors, owner occupiers, property companies and financial Institutions maximise their tax position on property expenditure. She was an Equity Partner in the special services team of International Cost Consultant, Davis Langdon and following the acquisition of the partnership by Aecom, became a Senior Director in Consulting.
During this period, Rachel held a series of senior positions within the company and latterly became their Head of UK Consulting, providing a range of construction related advice to both the private and public sector. It is in this role that Rachel became active in a broader set of consulting for clients wishing to enhance performance or carry out due diligence in both their businesses and on their projects. This successful work extended internationally where she had the opportunity to advise clients in a number of jurisdictions but more specifically in South East Asia where she worked on value management, business/project performance reviews and capital allowances. Her focus has been to enhance the overall performance of assets throughout their life cycle for her clients.
Rachel is passionate about diversity, particularly within the construction sector and has been involved in a number of initiatives to promote better diversity in the sector. She is a past Chairman of the Association of Women in Property and instrumental in a major D&I programme including launching a mentoring scheme for over 200 women.
She is a former council member of the Management Consultancies Association and is pleased to have been recently asked to act as an Independent Judge for their 20th Anniversary Awards.
In her spare time, she enjoys strength training, bikram yoga and has commenced mountain & moorland leader training.

Chris Bishop
BSc MSc MRICS
Chris is an experienced Chartered Surveyor who has worked in all major construction sectors during the course of his 30 year career.
Chris started his career within professional practice and qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1992. After 14 years in private practice, he joined the Contracting side of the industry providing contractor support services in both the UK and Hong Kong. In 1994 he undertook further qualifications at Kings College, London gaining a MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration.
Chris has gained valuable experience across all major construction sectors. As a Director of his own business he has worked with a range of clients, including developers (High End Residential), private clients (client representative on signature restaurants & residential) and major contractors in the UK.
Chris has experience of major procurement, commercial management, claims and dispute resolution for both main and specialist sub-contractors. He has enjoyed working on many of London’s iconic projects including The Millennium Dome, Greenwich (including the refurbishment for 02), St Pancras Station Redevelopment, One Hyde Park and Emirates Stadium, Arsenal. Infrastructure has also been a huge part of Chris’s work, particularly in rail, working alongside TfL, LUL, Crossrail, DLR and Network Rail; projects include Knightsbridge Station Redevelopment, Step free access at London Underground & DLR maintenance.
In Chris’s spare time he enjoys leading the G40 Royal Greenwich Scout Cub Pack, taking part in outdoor pursuits and of course Football.
